At fifteen, South African beauty Candice Swanepoel, was scouted while
shopping in a local flea market. Little did she know that this shopping
spree back in 2003 would change Swanepoel’s ordinary life into a
rollercoaster of catwalks, fashion magazine covers, ad campaigns and a
lot of attention from the fashion
industry. One year later, sixteen year old Swanepoel was
earning
approximately 5,000 Euros for a day’s work. Nowadays, she has become
one of the world’s most successful models and was recently ranked in
10th place on Forbes’ list of highest paid models in the world, with
earnings of about 3.1 million dollars.
