After New York and London, it’s Milan Fashion Week turn to have a say as to how women will dress for the spring-summer 2013. If the first day of previews was any indication, next summer will feature a lot of bold color and patterns. While the more structured, usually daytime, looks were in heavier fabrics, evening or playtime came in airier, diaphanous materials like chiffon and tulle at Gucci in Milan.

Angelina Jolie ‘Rawked’ the Golden Globe Awards

She chose to wear a sexy dress from Versace. Jolie appears wearing a dress made of satin one-shoulder model by Versace. Champagne-colored dress shows a red detail at the top. The dress is also showed her sexy legs.  Details of the red dress with matching clutch bag plus ‘Scarlett’ Red lipstick. Angelina, a mother of six children also looked  dazzling with jewels and earrings from Lorraine Schwartz. Earrings which adorned both ears with a ring on her right hand finger. For hair. Jolie chose menyanggul all her hair which she wore up.The Movie star of  ‘The Tourist‘ was strolling down the red carpet accompanied by her life partner Brad Pitt. The 48 year old actor was wearing a tuxedo from Salvatore Ferragamo. For this Golden Globe Awards 2012, Jolie was nominated through her film ‘In the Land of Blood’. The 36-year film actress was nominated for Best Foreign Language Film, while Pitt, was nominated for Best Actor Drama category. She also was nominated for the movie ‘Moneyball’ which in addition to starring, she also became a producer. The hot couple, Jolie-Pitt will be one reader nominations at the Golden Globe Awards 2012. “This is a golden night for us,” she said when interviewed (Pitt) by Ryan Seacrest for E! Nicki Minaj wearing a palm tree

The biggest news this week other than the Eurozone crisis and the Greek economy has been the launch of the Versace range of clothing in the H&M stores. The launch happened in New York with performances from Prince and Nicki Minaj who appeared to be wearing a palm tree on her head (because the collection had a palm tree theme). It was a celebrity-studded event with more expensive couture on show on the audience than the ramp. It was held in a specially built ornate cavern on New York’s Hudson River and even the professionally cynical fashion journalists and seasoned fashion week visitors seemed dazed and overwhelmed. – – Catch more on this here

Beverly Hills ‘Il Teatro alla Moda’ begins

LOS ANGELES, California: 

“Il Teatro alla Moda,” through Nov. 13, 253 N. Beverly Drive, Beverly Hills. Noon to 7 p.m. Wednesday-Friday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday and Sunday. Tickets, which can be purchased at the door, are $10; children under 12 and students with valid ID are free. Admission on Wednesdays is FREE. Features more than 50 original costumes made for theater, opera and ballet since 1980. Eleven Italian designers are represented, including Missoni, Giorgio Armani, Alberta Ferretti and Valentino. These special pieces exemplify the kind of craftsmanship that continues to make the “Made in Italy” stamp so prestigious, even if that stamp is more often found on leather goods today.
