Divas Chaka Kahn, Grace Jones and Gloria Gaynor take the stage at Etam’s Paris Fashion Week show
The 70s are back! Sister Sledge, Gloria Gaynor, Grace Jones and Chaka Khan performed during Etam’s Paris Fashion Week show tonight.
Anyone walking into the
Beaux-Arts de
Paris
might have assumed they had stepped back in time tonight. Though
fashion house Etam was hosting their Spring/Summer 2012 show, it was the
70s-era disco queens onstage who captured the evening’s spotlight
tonight. Soul divas Sister Sledge, Gloria Gaynor, Grace Jones and Chaka
Kahn all wore their glittery best to perform at the Paris Fashion Week
show. Queen of Disco, ‘I Will Survive’ singer Gaynor, 63, still looked
fabulous in a sparkling brown gown. Grace Jones looked every inch the
Andy Warhol
muse she was in a revealing black bodysuit, mid-calf length boots and a
tuxedo jacket. Paris fashion week with Gloria Gaynor, Grace Jones,

Pointer Sisters.
Heat be still! Haute couture at fashion house Etam was rawkin’ last
night. Hopefully New York Fashion Week, London Fashion Week fashion
designers will make some attempt to match this presentation with their
fashion shows. The
fashion industry with its street style, has arrived. 70s disco will live on. – -
