2012 Women at SAG Awards

Screen Actors Guild Awards – The Women & their Designers

Like the Golden Globes last week, Hollywood turned out yesterday at the Shrine Auditorium for the SAG (-ing) awards ceremonies. Everyone present brought some glamour while gearing up for the big one, The Academy Awards. On the Red Carpet, the arrivals witnessed some extraordinary SAG Fashions and some SAG-eek fashions. Let’s just wait to find out today, which one of our girls made the worst dressed list, DARN. Of course there was the lovely Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt (couple of the Year), Diane Lane, Emily Blunt, Emilia Clarke, Diane Kruger, Emilia Clarke, Jessica Chastain, Natalie Portman, Kate Winslet, Katy Perry, Kaley Cuoco, Kyra Sedgwick, Reese Witherspoon, Meryl Streep,  Jessica Lange, Viola Davis (Lead Role winner), Octavia Spencer, Jullianna Marguilles, Julie Bowen and the list goes on and on. We saw a  Dresses from Badgley Mischka, Zac Posen, Ralph Lauren, Carolina Herrera, Chanel, Alexander McQueen, Elie Saab, some a red Valentino gown, Versace, Tom Ford and others. The Men weren’t looking too shabby either. Christopher Plummer, Guy Pearce, George Clooney, Stephen Colbert and a few others kinda stood out. So. Let’s us all sit back and wait for the usual media thrashing of the celebs. It’s always good for a few laughs. Don’t feel bad guys, one day we’ll get our chance at thrashing them as well, after all, there just a bunch of wannabees anyway. It’s just a matter of time before someone comes up with that list. Congratulations to the winners of awards season, 2012.. – - follow more ©My Dress. My High Heels. My Style

Project Angel Food's annual Divine Design fundraiser in Los Angeles will honor Viola Davis, Patricia Field and Thomas Keller
It’s hard to believe that this year marks the 20th anniversary of Divine Design, the annual gala fundraiser and six-day shopping extravaganza with proceeds benefiting Project Angel Food. Serving all of Los Angeles County, Project Angel Food is dedicated to delivering nutritious meals to people living with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. In 2010, Project Angel Food cooked and delivered more than 735,000 meals. Left photo: Viola Davis at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ Governors Awards on Nov. 12.
