It’s all about a print mash-up.

Pattern lovers out there, get into this fashion spread, It’s All about a Print Mash-Up, in the current issue of Paper Magazine. Mixing bold patterns is such a tricky exercise but I’m loving all these pictures. I really enjoy what the models are wearing and that hanging textiles behind them. Kudos to Martha Violante and Paper Magazine for conceptualizing this cool story.

‘I Hate My Collection’ Film

NEW fashion film alert! A quirky documentary called I Hate My Collection about the venerable art college Central Saint Martin’s has just been brought to our attention, by the clever old Susie Bubble on her blog. So far we like everything about the trailer, from the David Bowie soundtrack, to the archive footage of crazy old Eighties collections, to the camp institutions such as Antony Price and Manolo Blahnik being interviewed for it. Stephen Jones claimed he went there after calculating how close it was to Piccadilly Circus – ‘the very centre of London’ – while Antonio Berardi described ruefully how ‘every other fashion college hated us’. – - read  more
