eBay partners with BFC for Fashion Forward initiative


eBay have announced an exciting new partnership with the British Fashion Council (BFC) in a multi-season sponsorship deal of the Fashion Forward initiative. The fashion arm of the UK’s biggest online marketplace will help to support emerging British design talent through the programme, starting at London Fashion Week SS13 this September. Caroline Rush, chief executive of the British Fashion Council  says, “Fashion Forward is one of the British Fashion Council’s talent support initiatives; designed to help emerging British fashion designers show and develop their businesses here in London. Stylist, SOYON AN: Budget on “American Idol”

A veteran of four seasons of American Idol, the show’s costume designer, Soyon An has a budget of $400 for each contestant and is something of an expert at high-low dressing. When Felicity Loughrey, a regular contributor to The Inside Source, eBay’s digital style magazine, spoke to An recently, she was preparing for the return of the 10th season of American Idol,  premiering tonight.
 “Some of my favorite outfits were the ones that Allison Iraheta wore (the jacket with the crosses), Lil Rounds (the catsuit), Adam Lambert (his leather jacket on tour) and Crystal Bowersox (her Janis Joplin paisley pants).”
